Good morning everyone!!
Happy Father's day!!
As we have four days to go, I will send some activities for all groups, from the youger ones to the older ones.
Infant Education:
For the little ones I have three activities:
First, watch this simple video:
If the video do not work please use this link.
If it still does not work, please proceed to youtube, and search for:
"Pip and the Big Red Ball"
Just after, and with your parent's help, answer these simple questions.
The following video is a song to celebrate daddy's day! Have a good day daddys!
I add here as well, an activity to develop students creativity. So, from the following image, what drawing can you create?
Please, do not forget to send me the result! and tell me what it is!!
Or keep it to show me when we are back at school!
1st and 2nd grade:
Find out your daddy's favourites! and then write it down and do a picture, as in the example. 1st grade should find out what your daddy's favourite animal is; 2nd grade should find ut what your daddy's favourite fruit is.
Remember! Send it to me by email!
Or show it to me when we see each other next.
An extra activity for 1st and 2nd grade could be to watch the following video.
It is an native English speaking woman who reads a book out loud. The story is about a daddy and his son and how the day goes along in their lifes.
It is a very sweet story, I hope you enjoy it as whole family time.
By the way, you do not need to watch the whole video, you can only watch the story part ;)
3rd and 4rd grade.
For 3rd grade, we will complete with "there is" or "there are" the sentences on the images. You can print it, or simply, write the sentences on a paper or notebook. Make sure you send it to me by email, and you add name and date, please. You can also show it to me at school.
4th grade will complete with routines the images you see. Once again, send it to me by email, on the printed paper or on a notebook... or show it to me when we go back to the normal lessons... whatever is best for you!
All of you, need to put in order the following text: I am Anna.
Good luck!! Tell me how it goes!5th and 6th grade:
You are going to use your EVA.
On one hand, 5th grade students should proceed to section 3, unit 3: "At the school canteen", to the page called: "A new experience at school: the canteen". There you are going to do exercises 7 and 8. Exercise 7 consist in classification: vegetables-fruit; and exercise 8 it's a linking activity with definitions and names.
6th grade open their EVA in secction 4, unit 3: "Going Shopping", on the page: "Buying things". There you will do exercises 3, read the text; 4 and 5 comprehension questions; 8 and 9 that are related to two different sounds in English. About exercises 8 and 9, do not worry if it doesn't go perfect at the first trial, it is a bit difficult to hear the difference of those two sounds.
In addition, 5th and 6th grade you can tell me, what special activity or activities have you done with your family to celebrate Daddy's day. 5th grade you will use the present and 6th grade, you already know the past, so you will use the past.
Finally for 6th and 5th grade please listen to this song: "It's my life" by Bon Jovi.
While you watch it try to complete the song with the righ words. You have the words you need on the image, you just need to put them in the right place. Exercise 1 it's quite simple, but be careful, you may need to use the same word more than once. Eercise 2 it's a bit more complicated, so do the best you can! Do not worry if it is not perfect.
Well, that's all by my side, enjoy daddy's day!
Anything you need, please, let me know!
Celia.
